Y'know how there's "Ride Your Bike to Work Day" to help the environment?
Well I had a dream there was "Organ Donation Day" to help people on organ donation lists. On this day, every single person who wanted to donate an organ, did so all at once, at a specific time, on one day (obviously, whatever controls the "well-organized charity planning" part of my brain isn't active when I'm asleep).I've always wanted to donate a kidney to a random person in need, and in my dream, I also decided to give someone half my liver (I specifically remember laughing with the doctor about something because "the liver regenerates itself, right? haha"). So why not take both out at once? Plus, as I was being wheeled into the operating room, and as they were applying the anesthesia, they told me I was going to get $100,000 for my organ donations. It turns out, that was one of the driving forces behind me donating all along.

ReplyDeletehehe, well, I think the liver is the only organ that can regenerate itself, if you have 25% left, that is. weird, useless facts my brain keeps track of.
